The beneficiary of the project entitled  VI.D. Silesia Province - it is worth investing here  is the Silesia Province.

The aim of the project is to promote the investment areas that are submitted for the fourth edition of the "Grunt na Medal" 2010 competition and which are located in the Silesian province through participation in trade fairs using computer and internet materials and a promotional campaign. All of the areas that were submitted are available at www.invest-in-silesia.pl website.

The project will provide active measures that are aimed at attracting potential investors who are attending fairs in Cannes, France, Milan, Italy and Munich, Germany. It is assumed that participation in the trade fairs and the promotional campaign will increase the investment attractiveness of the region. This is in accordance, inter alia, with one of the objectives of the Regional Operational Program of the Silesia Province for the years 2007-2013, which is to increase the value of direct investment in the region. The aim of the project is to maintain the high position of the Silesian province in all of the efforts that are related to increasing the investment attractiveness of the region. At the same time, in addition to to maintaining the high position of the region, the project will contribute to attracting new investors. As a result, within five years of the completion of the project, a greater inflow of foreign investment can be expected into the region and the image of the Silesian province as an excellent place to invest will be maintained.
