Automotive Investments - Direction Dąbrowa Górnicza

On November 6, the Zagłębie Palace of Culture (Pałac Kultury Zagłębia) hosted a conference entitled "Dąbrowa Górnicza - Direction Investments. Automotive Investments - Direction Dąbrowa Górnicza." During the event a cooperation agreement, between the Silesia Automotive Cluster, research units, institutions of higher learning and entities conducting research and development activities for the automotive industry companies, was officially signed.

The discussion revolved around the following topics: chances of Poland on the global automotive market, the need for increasing the competitive advantage on the market through investment in innovations and training of skilled workers, as well as prospects of the development of automotive industry.

Stefan Moisa, member of the board at General Motors Manufacturing Poland, claimed that Poland is a good country for launching production. The participants agreed that the crisis in Ukraine creates opportunities for the Polish companies to access the Ukrainian market and replace their Russian competitors.

On the day of the conference, the opening ceremony of the Tucznawa investment area was held. The area constitutes a key element in the investment offer of the city of Dąbrowa Górnicza and can help to attract more automotive industry investors to the city.
